We are Govan Docks Regeneration Trust – a local charity working to ensure the long-term stewardship of our iconic A-listed dry docks for the benefit of the local community and the Clyde’s industrial heritage.
With exciting news of a £2.4 million grant to Glasgow City Council from the Scottish Government Vacant and Derelict Land Investment Programme (VDLIP), restoration work will soon be able to start, that will begin to unlock many opportunities for the future of the site.
Our aim over the coming months and years is to engage the local community, stakeholders and experts in a journey that will take us to community ownership of this unique maritime heritage asset.
We are leading the way in bringing the local community and diverse interest groups together in shaping a shared vision for the future of the unique dry dock site.
Join or support us today and be part of this unique, exciting journey!
